I posted on here a long time back about setting up my 12 gallon Nanocube tank. I teetered on the idea but now I think it is time to set it up. Looking back through my old threads on the planted tank and such, I'm still going to go with some tall sword plant types and some moss balls with a small piece of driftwood.

I believe for stocking we decided on about 4 Oto's and about 3 cherry shrimp (or a nice handful of ghost shrimp). Still sound good with the plants?

Regular or zebra otos? Zebras are larger, and kinda cool looking. Other than that, I can't see any issues with that stocking. You'll likely end up with more than 3 shrimp, and can probably put something else in there as well. I'd recommend staying away from cichlids, as they'll likely go after the shrimp. Maybe 6 of something like the neon yellow rasboras or some other really small schooling fish.

im guessing ill only be able to get a hold of regular otocinclus. i was going to stick with purely algae eater fish in there. although a small school or like 6 neon tetras is not out of the picture for sure, i dig neons.....
