Looks like a betta who hasn’t eaten? Well fed betta? Nothing to worry? Well I did give him almost a 20 minute epsom salt bath already Dx
I’ll give him a bloodworm tomorrow as a treat xP

I don't think it looks too serious to me either. I know you're concerned about a new fish but give him some time to adjust as tl, Noodle & Vincenia said. Overreacting can have issues too...Patience! A healthy fish can go many days without food. If he's used to a particular food he may need to be quite hungry to try more than a bite of new...so that's all you should offer, 1 bite
