Really long gloves

Just wondering why you want gloves to maintain your tank?
Stay dry, particularly in larger tanks.
Prevents contamination of tank from soaps, skin oils and etc...
Saves time rather than having to carefully wash to remove contaminants you just glove-up and go to work.
Prevents cross-species(fish-human and vice versa) infection of certain disease/illness, e.g. Fish TB.

There are four excellent reasons.

ChileRelleno pretty much sumed it up. You just never know what's in there. It's safer for you and your fish. Filter cartridges and sponges get pretty gunky and I don't know about you, but I don't want to touch that stuff.

Thank you so much, everyone, for all of you help!

Got 'em

I got the gloves from Drs. Foster & Smith and they work good. They are a little big and it would be great if there were different sizes to choose from, but they work for most stuff and most importantly they keep my arms from getting wet and water from going into my gloves.
