It could be the cloudiness, but I like the first one. The plants seem better arranged. But, like I said, could be the cloudiness obscuring them.

once you add more plants to the foreground and back it will look nice, for now the area is very open but still looks great

Looked good before but that's an excellent redo - the rock feature is very good on the eye. I would now plant the foreground and behind the rockwall to add a lot of asymmetry. again, the rockwall is a very cool feature.

You could also consider a large piece of driftwood placed diagonally accross the rockwall.
