Hi,

I am considering getting a pressurized CO2 system. I have a 75 Gallon tank, so I dont think DIY systems will work. My LFS sell the Red Sea Pro CO2 kit that contains everything you need (dual gages, solenoid valve, fine control needle valve, bubble counter, tubing, CO2 reactor) for about $200 except the CO2 tank. It sells for $189 at Big Als.
I also see the Milwalkee set at aquabontanica which has a pH solenoid controller.
Any experience with either?
Thanks

I live in Minnesota and their is a company called TOLL GAS that has a ton of locations which made it very easy for me to get a tank. I got a 10 lb tank filled for under a $100.00. Most of that was a deposit for the tank. To fill it when it is empty should be around $20.00. It should last 6 months or more depending on how many bubbles you have it set for.

Measure the stand or area where you are going to put it so you don't run into any problems. It needs to be standing upright.

Good Luck

Also, check places that supply soda for bars...they fill for about 20 bucks and it lasts for 5-6 months. If you don't have those, check places that sell and fill fire extinguishers, as they seem to be cheapest.

hmm

Try ebay for the red sea 500 setup. I ended up going DIY on my 55, but I remember seeing that setup for 100 and the delux setup for 150 brand new on ebay.

You can get a 10# refill on CO2 for 20 bucks every 6 months, and spend about 100 bucks on the all in one. www.rexgrigg.com
cheaper for a heartier set up
