ok. it's been awile since i posted in the forum. haven't had to many problems
with my tank(except for hair algea). anyway i gone through the red slime crap and i treated it. now it's gone which is good, but now i can see there is a red fuzzy algea. good or bad. Tank is now about a year in. 30 gal w/lr/ls, skimmer, hot mag filter, and 2 power heads. my levels are good except for the phosphate(can't get rid of it and i tried everything from removers to all out water change. don't get it myself?????). well just like to know about the red fuzzy stuff. thanks in advance.

That might be part of your problem, of course there is the old "are you using RO/DI?", "what kind of skimmer?" types of questions. Post a pic I'm sure there is a simple solution.

using ro/di water and i have a seaclone 100. the algea grows in small(pencil eraser)round little bits, then grows together. i can't get my camera to focus on the algea...... :rant2:
