do you guys know any information on these guys? Fromia milleporella is the scientific name. I have just gotten one from my mom when I never asked for it. I did some research and I noticed that there were many different views on the care for this species. I states that these are usually hardy and does not need to be fed. while other say that this is a difficult species and that they are best left out in the wild. please help!!! FYI mine looks bright red with small black dots all over his body. also, it says that this species of starfish feeds on micro algea and micro fauna. is this true?:help:

Very similar to other omnivore SP. of seastar....Normally an algae grazer, but also goes scraps of meaty foods from the tank..You can suppliment its diet by providing meaty chunks of clam, squid, krill and foods of that ilk...
