Red ludwiga in pond

Hey guys, i live in long island new york and its getting pretty hot now, so today i decided to take a big clump of the floating red ludwiga out of my 75G and toss it in the pond outside, do you thik it will survive? it was about 92 degrees today and tonights low will probbaly be around 70 something, i think it would be cool to have a pond full of ludwiga

It should be fine. It grows wild where I live, and we have more severe highs and lows than LI does.
