Is it a better deal now that it's been marked down to 50 dollars ?

its a good price, but i would consider a different skimmer. i personally do not care for mine

The Red Sea Prizm is useful on a tank of up to about 30 gallons. Much larger than that, and it doesn't do a good job. The Prizm skimmers claim to be able to do many times what they actually can, which is the main problem with them. The Prizm Pro claims to be enough for up to 300 gallons, but is only good for about 55.
