Hybrids — apparently a type of Flowerhorn with some percentage of Texas Cichlid blood.

I have seen this pic before, though not the actual fish.

The intensity of red in the pic makes me beleive that it is touched up. Either way anything close to this amount of red, is very beautiful.

Yea it looks like it has been touched up to me also, but it most likely is a hybrid.

A hybrid of Texas and Blood Parrot. I see no trait of Trimac genes in it. When you hybridize fish, they come in all gradation and you never know what each individual will turn out.
well, I didnt say it was a trimac or had any traits of one, i just stated that it was LIKE a flowerhorn, a hybreed.

from what i have read most of the ones people are produceing are red devil or midas crossed over texas. The rd will give the orange/red color while the tex will leave the bluish spotting. just what i have read.
