I'm in the process of redoing my 150 tall. This is what I have so far.

I'm planning on putting (4) 20"-24" silk plants across the back to cover the seam in the backing. (On the way) What else do ya'll think I'm missing?

For filtration: 1 Fluval 404 and 1 Filstar XP-3 on the way.

Any Ideas?

Well, what kinda fish are you going to keep?

Plants, plants, plants. Silk, plastic, living...a heavily planted tank just looks great, really natural, if that's what you are going for.... I had somewhere in the neighborhood of one plant for every gallon and a half in my 55 gallon, in all sizes. It really looked good, and the fish loved the cover.

If you're going for the sparse look, just the plant to cover the seams in the back would be about it....maybe a large geological specimen (one that's safe for aquariums, like maybe a quartz geode or something) would be a nice touch. I had a big chunk of amethyst in mine....it really stood out and looked rich in the tank...
