What does it mean when a tank is advertised as "reef ready"? Is it pre-drilled for plumbing specific to saltwater tanks? Can this be used for freshwater?

I'm looking at a used tank but its advertised as "reef ready". I just want to make sure I can use it for freshwater.

Thanks for the help! :D

Usually reef ready tanks do have something pre-drilled. At the very least, I'd get it'd have a sump or some form of tank division to hold caulerpa or hardware. It'd probably be cheaper to just find a standard rectangular tank.
