Hi everyone - just upgraded my shelldweller setup from an 18" clearseal to a rekord 96 - bought for £30 (~$40) :D.

Fish currently are:

2x Lamprologus signatus (all of 1.5" long)
3x Otos (again, about 1.5" long if that)
1x clown plec (Peckoltia vittata) about 2"

erm, so i have a bit of free space. Anyone suggest any cichs to go in there?

BTW i have Apisto cacatuioides already, and have kept kribensis before - ideally i'm looking for african spp. Would any, e.g. julies or similar, be suitable in temperament or size?

Also i was going to stick a rusty plec L077 in, so that'd push the fish load up a bit as he's quite big.

thanks...

D'OH!!!

that probably explains the lack of replies

It's a Juwel tank - german brand - dunno if you have em in america...

96 is 96 litres (not that i use litres :p don't be mislead in england everyone still uses inches, feet, miles, pints and gallons)
It's about 21 UK gallons (~29 US?)

Any of the smaller julies would be a good choice. As far as the pleco goes it would be fine in the tank.
