Remove Algae off beach rocks

Hi Guys.
I was at the sea and found some lovely rocks that will look good in my tank.
But they have green algae on them.
I have boiled them to remove any dirt snails eggs etc
How do I get rid of the green algae on the rocks so that I can use them

I would scrub the rocks with a wire brush, then rinse them, then boil them again. There's all kinds of goodies in SW rock that you don't want dying and raising the ammonia levels in your tank.

id probably run them through the dishwasher with no soap a few times to.
