I did some price checking and this seems to be the best price so far, but I was curious if anyone has had or knows of any bad experiences with Big Als Online that they could share.

I am really trying NOT to be impulsive about buying any more aquarium products, and this deal is only good for about another 30 hours I think.

I am not hurting for a canister filter (or filtration), it was something I was thinking about for later on down the road...but the $$$

Any thoughts would be appreciated...maybe I should eat some chocolate and relax or something...

I've only heard good things about big al's and have used them once before. I usually buy from thatfishplace.com because between the two, its seems to be the cheaper when buying alot of things. But thefishplace is about 20 more for the filter now. I might have to pick one up for my 90g.
 
Big Al's rocks, I have had nothing but exemplary service from them, and I've spent over 1000 bucks there in the past year or two probably.
 
Big als is a great site. All my orders came in right and custumer service has been great.
 
Thank you for your replies, I went ahead and placed an order for the filter. I might as well just get this over with and get it.

They do have some prices that I don't think some of the retail stores can compete with.

I've bought from bigals for a couple years now, no issues other than trying to get 4' flourescent tubes... dont even bother trying.

However the 89.99 pricing is there normal sale price, like every other month it goes on sale for that. The only time I've seen em cheaper though was when petsmart had em for $75 earlier this year.
