I've been feeding Hikari foods for some years now, but see Repashy recommended a lot in various threads. The reason I've used Hikari is because most pet/fish stores carry it, and the only Repashy product I've seen at work is the Crested Gecko Diet. I did not see Repashy at my LFS yesterday either, but forgot to ask if it can be ordered.

I'm running low on Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and may have to order more online, so I'm curious which brand others recommend, and why.

Thanks.

Repashy is well recommended...as well is almost every food from Ken's Fish

Yes, I've heard Repashy is good....never used it myself but my fish go crazy over Hikari products

I use both...hikari algae wafers and Repashy Soilent Green, Community plus and Shrimp Souffle. I make up about three months worth of Repashy at a time and freeze a week's worth in individual freezer bags. My fish and shrimp love it. I bought in the past from Ken's but the last time I bought larger cans directly from Repashy.com.

I've used the repashy for my algae eaters and they seemed to really like it. I've always used Hikari for my carnivores and tetras I used New Life Spectrum. I haven't tried Ken's yet though.

I asked today, and the carnivore pellets will have to be ordered online. Which I find odd because we sell pictus catfish, columbian shark catfish, striped Raphael catfish, and bumblebee catfish, and we sell a bunch of other Hikari products. Repashy is definitely an "online only" thing. But my LFS sells New Life Spectrum.
