I currently own a 60 gallon high tech planted tank. CO2 Pressurized, I would like to know how much ppm of co2 will I have if I go for 1 bubble per 5 seconds? And then gradually 1 per 4 seconds, 1 per 3 seconds, and finally 1 bubble per seconds? I will be getting a dual drop checker by cal aqua labs. How will you know once you reach 30ppm of co2?

You can start off with at least 1 bubble per second. I have a 60 and its a lot of water to inject CO2 in.

I inject about 140 bpm in my 45 and am currently at 25 ppm. It certainly fluctuates from tank to tank and does take a little bit of time and tinkering.

Huh lol thats a lot of bubbles

2.2 bubbles per sec not that much :silly:

so bump yours up faster!! lol let them plants enjoy it

:perv:  fine yuri

It also depends on your equipment ... if you have a cheap needle valve it could really fluctuate - at least I think it could. LOL!

I have mine currently set at about 2bps or 120bpm - I still am not in the light green color. I recently took out the membrane diffuser I was using and am running the line into a powerhead after I drilled holes into the impeller - its chopping up the C02 into miniscule bubbles now. Hopefully I will get it fine tuned soon.

I have the Ideal 52-1-12 Needle Valve 65 dollars. Very precise. I'm glad i invested in this

1 bubble per second now. Let's see how my fish fare. How do you know if they are not looking so good?
