restarting cichlids

I have a 28g with only 3 Bolivian Rams and it seems crowded.

A 30 gallon with rams (potential of breeding) with the angels (a breeding pair?) would not allow enough space IMO. It could work though...

the angels are an unsuccesful pair. eat the eggs everytime they ley:wall::wall::wall::wall: mabye 1 ram would be good? id actually prefer blue german rams now:grinyes:

Still, even without the fry they could become too territorial to put rams in.

I prefer more than one ram per tank (I know, I'm a hypocrite) as the males really light up in color in the presence of females.

ahh ok i think i may start a new tank with a pair of german blue rams if i can get my hands on a pair. what other fish should i add to ram tank some cories or mabye 2 dojo loaches? mabye some tetras?

dojos get too large and prefer cooler temps where rams prefer around 80 F. Tetras and corys would be nice. I would go with the stock I had for your bro but sub a pair of rams for the guppies.

o really coler? sweet mabye i wont have to buy a new tank then could i mix a pair in my 30 gallon with 2 angels, platy's and tetras? or would that be 2 much?

Yeah it would be too much.

I was listing as choices either a couple of rams, or 1 Angel, or a trio of apistogramma...i.e. one of those options - together with some community fish.

actually i just take some stalk from my angel tank( the neons) and add them to some from my lfs. will any cories do or is there a specific species i should add like peppered or bronze? yeah i guess ill just start a new 1 sounded like 2 much for 1 tank. thx jpappy and coler

pretty much any that stay around 1.5-2" should be fine...which are most corys
