I just purchased an RO unit and was wondering if it would be a problem to leave the water in a large garbage can (clean and covered) in my basement so it is easily accesible when i need to add water and do mix salt for my water changes. Should i purchase a small powerhead to circulate the wtaer so it dosent go stagnent.

Thanks~

I have a 50 gallon plastic trash can that's for tank water only. I'd mix the salt and all and just have a batch ready to go. Get a power head/heater/hydrometer and you'll be ready to go.
hope this helps and this is really the best way to go.
cheers
