Dropped a rock while cleaning out my mostly empty 40g breeder today, and it hit the front panel pretty hard. There is no damage noticeable from what I can see or feel, but being the slightly paranoid, overtly cautious person I am, I wanted to ask if any of you think I should be concerned and maybe not use it.

I did the same thing when placing lave rocks in my 80 tank recently and was sure that I had cracked the front, but no.

I can tell you that my 1982 Nissan driver side tempered glass window shattered into tiny bits just from my elbow leaning on it, something I had been doing for years. The glass man told me that all those years of leaning stressed the glass in the same spot each time making it more susceptible to braking then at last it finally was ready to shatter with what seems like nothing but my elbow but in reality was fatigued. Steel will do the same thing.

Point is we now have to be more careful not to hit the front panel anymore as it may only have one more whack left in it before it cracks lol.
