is it okay to put dt's phytoplankton premium reef blend in with a rose anemone just wondering if it is good or bad for it.

the anem wont eat it, but as long as you dont overfeed enough to throw off your levels, it wouldnt hurt at all.

it seems like when I do put it in the anemone shrivels up for a day I had one b4 and it died I now have another put the DT's in and it shriveled seems a litttle better now than earlier is there anything else to use because my corals do well with the dt's and I don't want them to suffer. anything out there that would be ok for both and does the dt's change the levels. thanks again for your help

what types of corals do you have? it is likely that the corals you are feeding dts cant even injest it, or at least dont need to. DTs can screw up your levels if you overfeed, just like with any food.

most corals can absorb nutrients through their "skin" but as fishiness said a lot of corals dont really utilize liquid foods. nems can absorb it a bit but they prefer meaty foods and make most of their own food using light. it would be really helpful to know what other corals u have...u may not even need to be feeding...also what are you running for lights? dont want to be adding extra phosphates and waste ever.

I have 130 watts of pcs, brain coral, green torch coral, flower pot, xenia, orange sponge, and a crocea clam all are doing great

The above LPS corals and the anemone should be fed Mysis shrimp with the pumps off for 20 minutes.

The DT's is not necessary. If the clam has issues it will be light related unless it is under 2" total length.

Keep up on water changes and the anemone should fare better.

the clam is high on the rock and is over 2 inches and how do I feed the brain coral and torch with out the fish eating the mysis
