I've been wanting rosy loaches since they came into the hobby a few years ago. My lfs store had them once but I didn't have a tank for such tiny guys. My new local(ish) shop has had them for a couple months & I kept hoping they'd have them when I was ready.
Yesterday I bought 9 for a 20g long plant tank. They remind me of pygmy corys, more midwater swimming & dark lateral stripe. Not as red as some pics show more pinkish/yellowish but very active & cute. They're from the same area as galaxy danios (CPDs) so I may get those as tankmates.
