Ok so I found a rubernose or bulldog pleco yesterday and got him. I put him in my 29 gal community tank with mollies and corries and gost shrimp. I havent seen much of him and I am guessing he is just getting use to it. Does anyone have and info or experience with these little guys. And will he eat mollie fry if given the chance.

I've noticed that plecos are really shy as they get used to their new surroundings. He should be more active in the following days. You may also want to take a peek sometime in the middle of the night, if you're up and restless one night soon. They are more active at night. My common pleco just hides through most of the day, but at night he's usually all over the place looking for food.

Rubber nose plecos are more shy than some of the others. He will come out at night mostly. Feed him some blanched zuchini and he will come out. Make sure you have driftwood, he'll probably be on that for most of the day. The rubbernose was a great choice. I think is cuter than the bristlenose and does a better job eating algae than the clown pleco.
