aknif...yes...kids get sick because they are out with other kids being exposed to unfamilliar bugs, and then the lucky parents get to share when they bring it home. and once you get something and get sick, you are more susceptible to catch something else because your immune system is already compromized.
Cajun and Slappy....it has it's uses. some cough meds like Nyquil are mainly alcohol. A shot of JD or tequila tastes better. :sim:

My sister took that once because she had an allergic reaction to another medicine. I can't remember now what she had....
I also came down with the nasty upper respiratory bug that went around this year and it developed into early pneumonia. I too was on Albuterol and Zithromax and Robitussin w/ codeine. It worked like a charm for me. I was SO much better within 48 hours.

Older antibiotics are sulfas, penicillins, then you get erythromycins and tetracyclines. There are others..but you get the idea.
