My tank is about 3 weeks old.
Ph is 7.2
Amonia is .25
Nitrites are .25
Nitrates are 5.0
(All PPM)
Temp 80 degree's

I have a big rock in the center that I got from Petsmart, that is full of holes like a sponge, but hard. It has a few splotches of rusty looking brown algae, and a stripe of lime green colored algae, but no algae anywhere else in the tank. Should I do anything with it, or not worry about it?

I'd leave it alone. Most of my decorations end up with some form of brown or green algea. If it really bothers you, you could scrub it off. Most of the time it doesn't harm anything and some people like the look of it in thier tanks.

i agree with miguel ... leave it alone. too much messing about with a new tank such as yours may have a negative impact on the cycle.
