Sad news, but strange

Came home from shopping today and saw a dead fish floating in my 100gal. Felt sad, but when I needed it out --it was an Otto cat. I did not even knew I had an Otocinclus in my tank. He must have been almost 10+ years old.
Wow, but sad.

I'm sorry for your loss, Jessica. Sad, but a great indication of your quality of care. And to not even know it was there, lol, says you have a very planted tank, as I know you do.

10 years is a good long life for most of our fish. We can all aspire to you oto's longevity. Sad cheers!

Thanks all. I do have a very heavily planted tank, but I prune and do WC every week. You would think that once, I would see him hang on the front glass. Even though I do not remember getting him, I am sad about it.
