its okay now couse your mom doesnt have to suffer anylonger and she will live on in your heart

Very sorry to hear of your loss, Lila...your memories will keep her close and strengthen you....

Sorry to hear of your loss. You always wish to have them with you at their best..free of pain and 100% healthy and whole.

Lila, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom....I lost mine last summer...she was only 65........I know what your going through now.

Hang in there and enjoy the good memories..don't dwell on any regrets (we all have some here and there)....and I'm sure you'll be there for your dad.

As far as what to say.....I think people only ask that because they don't know what else to say. Most wouldn't know what to say or do if you got really honest with them and told them how you were REALLY doing.......so...."Best I can" is about all you can say. You save the real truth for the really close people in your life who really do want to know and will help you through it.

All the best to you and your family Lila....this next year will be tough...hang in there and share your memories of her with each other...especially the funny ones ! It's good when you can get together with family and laugh over all the silly things that happened over the years. ;)

Sorry to hear about your loss, Lila...I know I'm still quite the noob here, but you and yours will have my thoughts and prayers tonight. :(

My prayers are with you and your family on your loss of your mom. Whether it was expected or not, it is not easy. But you can take comfort in the fact that she is in a better place and no longer suffering, but healthy and young once more. All of us who still have their mothers should cherish every moment we can with them! My mother had only a 15 percent chance of surviving the cancer she was diagnosed with 10 years ago. She is still with us, suffering some damage from the chemo but is with us, has seen two more grandchildren born and celebrated with all of us, my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Disney World on August 6th. I cherish all the time with her (any my dad) now.
