Saltwater for dummies

My LFS has small corals that are only $10. I got two, a Mushroom and a Brown Button Polyp. They add a lot of interest to the tank, are doing great and don't require any special food, additives or special lighting (I have 192w compact fl. w/55g & 8 fish.) I got a Green Star Polyp Coral for $35 and it is thriving also. I think there are lots of easy, beginner corals you could try.

lol everyone wishs they had a bigger tank :)
Why do you think that guy is selling his 1900gl tank....to get a bigger one duh

one of the nicest looking tanks i have seen was a 15 gallon with tiny pipefish, a couple chuunks of live rock, some star polyps, red and purple mushrooms, 5 porcelain crabs, a couple shrimp that i dont know the species and some scarlet hermits. the color contrast was amazing, and in that small a tank you didnt have to LOOK for stuff, it was all in plain view, alot of activity with what i was told was very little upkeep. low bioload, low runing cost. seemed like the perfect tank for the size.
