Sand For Kribs

I have Decided To Get a sand known as Silica, And Can not find it anywhere i have an order in at one place but the place is unreliable (The closest thing the carry to it is pebbels and the person say that it is used for Cat Litter). Someguy told me to get the sand at a Pool place. Would this Be Okay or might there Be Chemicals in it. Can any one give Me And Idea To Find This Stuff?

you can use lake michigan sand......

go to an outdoor play that has play sand
place like wannamakers if u have that there

i wouldnt use that cat litter stuff
