I am trying to get a pair of saulosis to breed. Is there anything to encourage them to breed that I can do? Also what size must they be to breed? Thanks for your help.

generally, African cichlids are not "pair formers". the 'best' way to encourage them to breed is to purchase 1 male and 3-4 females, maintain them in hard, alkaline water and install lots of rocks forming caves in their tank. Pseudotropheus saulosi prefers a sandy bottom for spawning so the rocks/caves sould cover only half the tank.
