Does anyone know who might manufacture a lower height stand? It is the perfect height for younger child and top viewing (they had beautiful open- tank setup.) It was a flat-back hex or octo. glass tank on top, probably at least 70 gal. Loved it! I might have to go back to Petco to find out more, but was hoping someone here might have the scoop since it'll be a week or more before I'm at Petco again. Help! :)

I've seen Ameriwood stands as low as 24".. not sure if Petco deals those though.

Here's their online list of stands. In my office I have a tv stand that I'm using for my 10 gallon, it's very low, and was only $20 at IKEA. A lot of tv stands won't hold more than a 20 gallon, though.

thanks- didn't see it in either Ameriwood or Petco Online, I'm gonna check All-Glass and Oceanic web sites now. :)

There seems to be two main sizes of aquarium cabinets 24" and 30". The 24" seems to be much more accessible even with tall 30" aquariums but do not have a much eye height appeal or presentation. For some reason 30" cabinets look better and place the aquarium in a more appealing view but those few 6" inches of height also seem to make it much harder to service especially if the tank is a tall 30". My 120 Oceanic tall tank 30" sits on its 30" stand and although it really stands out in the room, I always have to use a stool to service it from feeding to cleaning. Cabinet height and tank height are the key to easy access and so a 24" stand and 18" tank make for a pretty low setup, any lower and an adult would probubly trip or fall over it.
