Saw fish at walmart

Just had a molly die from it... it had just come from petsmart though, so I don't think it was my fault lol... it just wasn't acting sick soon enough :(

yeah, when i was a little kid i had a community tank and did the it looks dirty so ill clean it routine, and every single one of my guys came down with it one day and died in a few days. although i was just a little kid, i really should have done some research on that kind of stuff... well, live and learn, i guess....

wal mart

my wal mart isnt bad stow ohio
but there are three decent lfs near that i dont buy any thing except supplies from them may be gold fish

i got my black moor at walmart and he's the cutest thing ever! i feel like squeezing him till his eyes pop out!! j/k
anyways he was very healthy when i got him, but a month later i decided to get a pearl scale at petco and he came with ich (he died overnight) and contaminated my tank and my little Ozzy!!

Thank God he's fine now!! :D Cute as ever!

I've gotten all but 3 bettas at walmart. Granted, their quality has gone down a LOT since i started buying them... also, i just picked up a GORGEOUS angel fish from them.. my boyfriend started his goldy tank, and hasnt lost one yet.

There are 2 walmarts within 11 miles of each other (soon to be 3). the older one jsut recently rennovated, and gave all their fish lighting, ornaments in the tank... the rosy reds are really the only tank that has dead fish in it, but they clean it out regurlarly.

just my 2 cents!

There are two Walmarts close to me in NW Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Both are clean and bare - no substrate or decor in the tanks. Small selection but the fish looks health. I rarely see dead fish there. Staffs are helpful. I've bought fish and supplies from both without any problem.

I am not a Wal-Mart shopper, but as I work for a company that does their inventories, I spend a lot of time in Wal-Mart all over Wisconsin and Michigan UP. Our Wal-Mart here, will actually not sell any fish out of their tanks if they have had any diseases. They quarantine the tanks for 3 weeks at a time! There are only two other places here to buy fish, both hardware stores. One I refuse to buy from as their tanks are always dirty and always have dead fish floating. The other has a very knowledgeable manager who stays on top of everything and I have had great luck with all the fish we have purchased there. One thing I like about Wal-Mart is that they keep their fancy tail guppies male and females separated and you don't have to buy a pair. Their prices are better, too.
