Was planning too soon :S.
Whenever I feed microworms they happily go for them, as for flakes you can see them eat a bit but they are not one of those types of fish that go into a crazy frenzy feeding mode. I noticed a few spawning hints here and there, males chasing after females, I saw the courtship dance almost certain it was a male and a female and not two males sparring. Just got to wait to see some eggs :S.
The tank currently has yellow shrimp. About 10 yellow shrimp and 3 berried females.
In the first day of getting them my Microworm Culture did not arrive so I used flakes and grabbed newly hatched Wild Type Neos from my other tank as a food source. Week or two....I seen the Wild Type Neos and been fishing them out to put them back into the old tank, guess the dario dario were to little at the time or had no interest.
Was the vibrant blue all around the fish? Or just on the bottom fins, I noticed the bottom fins developed a blue lining.
They had from plump to kinda plump bellies to one who was scrawny and laid on the substrate the first few days. After a week or so they looked much better.
Thanks
.
I have heard there was a albino type female, I was unsure if this was true or not. I also read the regular female is a bit dull in color and stripes are also less in color.
If this is true I have 2 albinos which are white colored, 1 reddish stripped one, and 2 boys?
Felt like an interview

Any updates?

Great looking fish. I have some badis badis which are similar but they color up to a really vibrant blue. Have you tried keeping yours with smaller shrimp like cherries?

I am glad to hear that you got males and females! I plan on using these as a centerpiece for my paludarium.
Yours colored up beautifully!
