Scarlet badis (dario dario)

OMG! im going to SHOOT you! im so jelous! ive been running a tank for more than half a year now for some and my LFS finally got some... theyre 11 dollars AND theyre in TERRIBLE condition....

is that a 20g high??

I just got a new idea for mine.... lol

Yup the tank is the regular 20 gallon.. though a 20 L sounds more interesting :D.

I bought mine from the link posted on the first page, seems the selling site is down at the moment. Think it was $15 for shipping and either $3 or $4 per dario dario.

I was watching them and they were all out and about. It looked like they were pairing off, seeing usually the males will chase females away but they were like an inch apart swimming next to each other.

Java moss seems to be the trick for a spawning ground, so I'll stick some in there in the morning and wait to see what happens :).

His selling site only says snails are wild caught so you could assume everything is bred.

I only been feeding Microworms, and flakes. Flakes just as a additive if they are eating it, they do go for it sometimes if it floats by them. They are not very fast or veracious eaters, they nibble whatever comes near their face.

kinda like my cpd/Danio margaritatus? cat like just nibble , they really like my snail jello the best,..lol its a hit with everything,.. could be the 100% pure spirulina flake i use in it,..

I love this fish. I want them for my 55 dwarf community.
