Schooling fish

I am getting ready to put a school of neon tetras into my tank. My question is what other small fishes could i stock that would not school with the tetras?

A 46 would allow you to have a nice mix.........

my lfs used to have a 70 gal with nothing but neons in it, it looked really good, i want mainly one type of fish, (40 or so neons) and only like 3-5 other fish, preferably one variety

I think 5-6 honey gouramis (Not the dwarf variety, they are red) and 35ish or so neons would look very nice
