I won a complete 50 gallon setup and stand for $360 at a local auction. It is nice! It is has the Sedona series stand and Canopy, an All Glass Aquarium, flourescent lighting, heater, and filter.
I plan on replacing the heater. It came with a 200W Catalina. I have never heard of these and I can not find much information on it. I take that as a sign they suck. Anybody know about them? I plan on replacing it with a couple of 100W Ebos.
The filter it came with is a Millenium 3000. I haven't seen these before either. The pump is large enough, 300gph, and it has this wet/dry feature where air is injected into the filter housing. The reviews I have read online seem mixed. What do you all say?
Any way, I am pleased. I think I got a great deal. I plan on having a couple of Pearlscales in it. I am moving one from his tank and will use it instead as a fry tank. My White Clouds have spawned! This puts me at 4 tanks. Thats it for now. One of these days when I am no longer renting hopefully I can get more and larger....
