Searching For A Compatible Fish

For your tank, I'd recommend a pair of pearl gourami. Both male and female are really neat, and their max size (4"-5") seem to fit your tank.

Just put a long leaved plant thet reaches to the surface of the water on the background and you'll see them swimming around it.

could also go with a couple of bosemani rainbows, they are beautiful fish and very peaceful. But I do have a dwarf gourami, i had two fo them but the bigger one scared the other into not coming out of hiding, it ended up passing.

Ahh. I just found and bought 3 of the boesmanni rainbow's last night. Amazingly pretty fish. I have them in with some large neons and rasbora's right now in my 40 gallon until they get big enough to add to me 75. I think they would go well with the set up as well. I agree with the gourami's. We have a dwarf flame gourami that reeked havock in the tetra tank...he hated everyone! We placed him in the 75 with the bloodparrots and now that there is bigger fish with him, he doesn't seem to be in constant attack mode.
