Anyone use these? I thought I would try them with the baby Otos to see if they would be good. Put a half a sheet in the tank last night. Fixed in inside a container that is upside down so it would float away....so I thought.

Woke up this morning and have seaweed stuff all over the tank an completely covering the prefilter. Grrrrrrr.

I recon I'll let it sit in there for now to see if they will munch it but don't like the mess.

I get it at an Asian food market, it's a lot cheaper there than at PetsMart. The easiest way to feed it (I've found) is to use scissors to cut it up into good-sized flakes. I've never fed it to Otos but my Goldfish go bonkers over it and so do my Clown Loaches and Silver Dollars.

i grind it up and add it to my plaster of paris food pucks along with ground dried shrimp and flake foods i make and my snails and goldies munch it up.

hmm wonder if my BN's would eat it.

I feed it to my Tangs(tomini and Blue -marine)

I've never noted oties ever eating anything but whatever grows in my tanks. They simply don't bother with any of the pellets, wafers, discs, etc that I have ever offered.

The nori is great for Africans. Mine used to go nuts for it.
