I've been running 75G, 20G, nano, and recently a 30G reef tanks with the 1st being set-up about 3 or 4 years ago. I've learned a lot and read a lot but I'm far from being as knowledgable as I'd like to be.
I'm completely addicted to the hobby and now I've taken a serious plunge and purchased a 252G acrylic tank that will be plumbed into an adjacent empty bedroom - my soon to be fish & coral room. I'm not wealthy so it will take some time to get the equipment I'll need to run the tank because I want everything to run properly. My first task is a DIY stand, but I digress.
Now that I'm making the big step to this size tank I'm looking for a mentor - someone very sklled in reef systems. I'll need help in all aspects with this tank and I'm hoping to vastly improve my knowledge in the process. I live in the Northern Nevada area (Carson City) and it would be great if someone was from this area, but it's not mandatory. I'll take whatever help I can get. We don't have any SW clubs and I'm not personally acquainted with any other SW enthusiasts so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
