self cleaning aquarium system

Just set up a 110 gallon fw tank for the first time. I was looking thru a magazine and found a molecular ionization cleaning system by eco aqualizer. Has anyone used this? Does it really work as advertised? Is it worth $80?

If you believe that magnets have magical properties around water, why do we not see this with all of our magnetically driven pumps? This is not science, it is anti-science.

I am of the opinion that you just cant get away from the bi-weekly 30%-40% water change, and while you are on a bi-weekly schedule keep in mind that a weekly water change is probably better.

if you found an RO system that cycled tank water, that would work. but might be quite pricey.

Tap water is cheaper, and better balanced to boot.
