I have six Serpais who seem very healthy and active, however a couple of them have a very fine line of white coloring along the lower fin - is this normal - am I just being paranoid as I read other people's postings and get to know more about fish (i've seen references to "fin rot", etc.) Thanx

My head-and-tail light tetras and glow-light tetras also have streaks of white on their lower fins. I don't recall noticing this on my black neons. From time to time I think it may be related to what sex the fish are, that the females have the white... then other times I think it may not be related. Maybe it's just something that happens in adulthood. All my fish are active and their fins are unfurled and full, which makes me think they feel confident and thus happy.

Mine have it too... especially when they get excited (feeding time). Totally normal!

I notice this appear on my black moor? Is that normal for him too?
