I am currently in the planing stages of setting up a 20 gallon long tank. I mainly want it to be a Goby tank, but I have been having trouble finding websites about gobies.
Here are the general outlines I had in mind

3 knight gobies
3 desert gobies
2 figure 8 puffers (would be willing to substitute with something else)

any help or suggestions would be most appreciated :)

You might want to cut it down to one figure eight. 10 gallons per figure eight is the way to go. Puffers are unpredictable and territorial, however the figure eight being one of the more docile there have been quite a few people say their figure eights had severe attitude problems.

So would 3 knight gobies, three desert gobies, and One figure 8 puffer be the way to go?

and one quick question, does anyone know what the availability of these fish are? I know that figure 8's are easy enough to get a hold of, but I'm not sure about the gobies.
Thanks for all the help so far.:)

The knight gobies are common--not sure about the desert ones? is there a another name they go by? The knights are often sold under several different names.

The scientific name is Chlamydogobius eremius
:)
I did a little searching on the internet, and the common online price is around $7, so hopfuly that means they aren't too rare.
