Can a Angel fish survive in a tank with Severums. My severums seems very docile but I know that Angels can not take much aggression. i would like to get a pair of Angels but the only tank they could possible survive in is the severum tank the rest of my tank has aggressive cichlids (flowerhorns, blood parrots, dempsey, convicts, etc.)

Your angels should do okay with Severums providing the tank is large enough. I would use 55 gallons as a bare-bones minimum. A 75 would be better. I would try and find angels that are a little bigger than the Severums as a precautionary measure, but you shouldn't have any problems. All the usual hiding places rules apply as well.

Thanks I have them in a 55g right now and I will add some more hiding place to be sure i have enough in the tank.

I personally think it's a very poor idea. Severums are more aggressive than angels, and angels are very easy targets.

I have two of each and they are fine.
