My Green and Gold severum which i was 100% sure were both males just layed eggs all over a rock they nudged into the big hole they dug. I didnt plan on this to happen but im very happy about it, anyway.. what the heck do i do. They are in the tank with a pleco, 2 silver dollars an iran rainbow and an elephant nose. Thanks

The Female(gold) is doing a good job moving water over the eggs, Im guessing thats what shes doing with her fin, and they are both fending off my other fish. SHould i separate the tank, or move the rock to a different tank?

You should leave both the parents and eggs in the tank. Serverums are great parents and will defend for their young. Dont be worried about the other fish eating the eggs.... Worry about the Serverums killing the other fish.

i would leave everything, and congratz on ya babies, i wonder if they live if 50% of the babies are green and the other 50% gold, hmm that would be funny

How about some pics?
