Sex for my nicaraguan cichlids

Hi all please can you help with the sex of my two nicaraguan cichlids there both around 5 inch the none colourful one is hard to photograph
The colourful one does have a slight head bump

I did a quick search & was surprised the colorful 1 appears to be female. Thia site is a good 1 Hypsophrys nicaraguensis (Nicaragua Cichlid) — Seriously Fish
So, by the black spot, the less colorful is male. They're not full grown yet so the female looking 1 could change.

I'm used to using fin length to help judge sexes in most cichlids but that doesn't seem to work for these.
