Anyone know how to sex these, or know of a knowledgable web site I can check out? I have lost one because I think I got two males and one kept the other pinned to certain portions of the tank.

Females are usually MUCH duller in color. With neon blue dwarfs, for example, the males are that beautiful bright blue...whereas the females are a dull silvery color.
In all likeliness, you probably got two males - females aren't usually sold in petstores and are something that gets specially ordered - because they aren't as "pretty."
