Should I Buy Jebo 5 Gallon Micro Curved Glass Aquarium?

I really would prefer a quiet, glass tank to an acrylic Eclipse. The only 5g glass tank I found was the Jebo. I know nothing about this brand's tanks. So please help!

My alternatives are to either 1) keep the present set up, 8g halfmoon tank with a Marineland Duetto-50 filter or 2)try to find a plain 5g glass tank with a hood (impossible to find so far) and use the Duetto filter.

I'm afraid of a repeat fish-suicide if I keep the current tank. And at 18" it was a too tall tank for the betta to go up to breathe.

I'm also not sure of the quality of the Duetto. After two months, my tank never cycled properly, despite time and SafeStart and Dr. Tim's bacteria.

So, how would a 5g Jebo nano do? Is the current too strong? If so, could I use the Duetto? Is the Duetto any good?

Aesthetics! Wikipedia. In other words, it's pretty - just like bettas!

And the convenience of an all-in-one. (Pssst - I had thought about a simple 5 gallon, but finding a glass one was harder that I could imagine. And then finding suitable lighting and filtration and a hood...). I'm also looking for a very short tank, no more than 12" tall, so the betta can swim to the surface quickly to get air. The EcoPico fits my limited space and is short. It'll be on the corner of my desk rather than on a stand five feet from me.

I'm moving the old setup to the kitchen, and putting in neons - or the like - the fish my mother requested. I want my fish on my desk now to be closer to me.

EDIT: What I meant to say was, I've got both male and female bettas in both 10 and 20 (tall) tank and neither of them have any trouble breathing at all. I'd probably not worry about the height constraints for that particular reason.
