Should the Stones retire

Honestly, I could care less about the stones, but if they are doing it because they LOVE it, and not so much for money or other such reasons, I say go for it!!!

However, I do hope that no one breaks a hip out there, that would be embarrassing :Angel:

The Stones will quit touring when you can pry their walkers from their cold, dead hands!
 
I'm personally a Beatle's fan. My six year old could name the members and recognise their stuff on the radio when he was two, however, if they were still all alive and together, I might go see them once just to see if they still got it. I totally agree on that Keith Richards thing.
 
I think they should retire, but if fans want to go along with the ticket 'price gouging', then that's ok too. I wonder if they complain about online music sharing.

Older people have bills to pay too..(habits to support, etc..) . :D
 
I saw an interview with Mick and Keith not to long ago..they tour becasue they want to. What the heck...why not. It;s not likethey need the $$. These guys have to be rollong in it. I'll agree they look like one foot int he grave and one on a banana peel but you gotta give them credit for putting it out there.
I like the music for the most part, but I've never been the groupie type fan. The fact Mick's my dad's age is a put-off. :D

What's wrong with doing it for the money??? Don't we all have to do something we get paid for doing ?

As far as them not needing the money..I wouldn't be too sure about that...some of these folks money goes through thier fingers like water..(especially when you have a "habit")....the first thing I thought when they started touring again...was....either they're bored or....they're broke and need to get off their duffs and get back to work.....why else would 60's something old folks want to go up and make fools of themselves gyrating around on a stage making faces with zillions of people watching...and then do it again...and again...and again...in many cities across the land...?? :confused:

P.S. I'm not a stones fan...can you tell ? :p:

I'm sure there are habits to be supported, alimony to pay..but these guys have to be raking it in just in royalties. They aren't hurting. Literally..the half live of the drugs must be something else for Keith alone..his liver has got to be shot.
