<---- One Rowdy Hound - Sleeps on my side of the bed, and I move for him. Thinks he's a lap dog at 50 pounds. Will "tell" me what he wants, like treat food or cookies, etc. Will play frisbee until YOU get tired. Likes beer.
2 dogs--my name sake, a pointer mix from the pound. Very enthusiastic, also a 70+ pound lap dog. Patch, another pound rescue, heeler/collie mixed with something.
Puck--blue Russian, runt of the litter, now an anti-social baby--doesn't like anyone but me and my husband. And, Maggie, a evil little orange and black calico that will tire you out playing fetch.
Pics on my web page--goodness, do I need to update!
I haven't had any pets but fish for a few years now. (It's the first time in my life I've been "petless") I've finally decided to take the plunge and get another bird, so I've ordered a baby Meyer's Parrot. She's not even an egg yet, but once one is hatched it will be reserved for me until she's weaned. I'm SO excited!!!! I will post pics once I get her.
I will have to get pics on here soon, everyones pets are soooo cute! Nursie, your boxers look just like the one I have. We just had a mast cell tumor removed from her side (shes about 7) but they think they got it all and she is as rowdy as ever, that is when she isn't trying to sit on my lap!! We also have a jack russell, a border collie we found in Wyoming driving home from California. We found him on the side of the expressway and brought him home with us. Then we also have 3 cats. AND we just found out a couple of weeks ago that we have our first real baby on the way! What am I going to do with all these animals!!! Oh, and 3 fish tanks too :duh:
here's my poochie, Bailey! (the first four) from age 7 weeks, 9 weeks, and 2 years or so (he'll be four this Fall) and the last one is his daughter from the first litter who's now going on towards two but is pictured at 3 months or so...watch for her in the show ring this summer
And here is my other poochie (mini schnauzer, Snickers) lounging on my dad's bed
These are my aunt's two airedale pups, Forrest G and Jenny. They just love riding on the golf cart! LOL
And last but not least is Bailey's great grandfather...where it all began
This is my kitten Fiji. She has since been given to a friend since I had to move to an apartment and they don't allow cats and dogs. (They have a stray cat problem) I really miss her............
I am such a sucker for dogs!!! Saray, is your baby a Harlequin great Dane? I loved the shot of the well manicured toenails. It is such a fight with our older boy. We ahve to sneak up on him when napping and get one at a time...it's an onging process. He is such a wuss!!!
Keevti..in our pre-dog days, we had cats. One had a thing for the little rings off of the plastic milk cartons, he carried them around and played with them.
People have such neat pets. I had turtles when I was a kid, but no reptile/amphibian type since then.
