i want to see the layout of your tank.
the way you aquascape, if you have some kind of a look youre trying to get, write about it.

rotala indica - in the front sides
crypto wendtii - in the middle open area
java fern - right behind the crypto
anubias nana - next to the tree in the shade
some plants i got for $2.98 in the back
i got all those in the back for 2.98, they must grow big or something i dont know, just got it few days ago, see how it turns out.

It's not GREAT, it'd look nice with some driftwood opposed to those stones, I think.
 
Miso....I apologize incase you didn't want responses in this thread but...

Actually Liz, I really like the look of the rocks. I find it refreshing to see something other then driftwood in the aquarium (driftwood lovers, don't take that personally, I still love and use driftwood but I don't think there is enough well executed rock work in aquaria)
 
True. But a slab of slate and a chunk of quartz don't look too natural, I guess. I'd like a biotope tank, but I'm too lazy to do all the research. That's a 10 gallon with a few Dwarf Puffers, by the way. I'd like to put something in the back left corner, I have an amazon sword and some Normaphila Corymbosa somethingorother towards that corner but it doesn't seem full enough to me.
 
anybody has branchy driftwoods? im trying to get the trees growing over the stones look
 
I was going for a natural look in my 125g. My discus seem happy.
